Bali Retreat 2026
August 29-September 5 2026
This year we will gather in eastern Bali for a rejuvenating week of meditation, advanced Vedic practices and connection with likeminded people to recharge and come away refreshed.
❋ Vedic Meditation
Training for those new to the practice and refreshers and advanced techniques for those with experience already.
❋ Rounding
The ancient art of Rounding, a gentle yoga and breathing sequence that deepens the effects of meditation.
❋ Healing breathwork
Release stuck energy and emotion with this powerful breathing technique.
❋ Rest and relaxation
This year we will keep excursions to a minimum. Massages will be available, as well as the in-house sauna, steam room and cold plunge.
❋ Nourishing food
Delicious and nourishing meals prepared by a private chef.
❋ Connection
Spending quality time with Rory and fellow meditators – in paradise!
This is a chance to step out of your normal routine for a week and see what changes when meditation becomes the centre of your day, rather than something you try to fit in around everything else.
Claim your place spot now – over half the rooms are now taken.
About the retreat
This week is designed to give you the space to properly step back, reset, and either learn meditation or take your existing practice much deeper.
You don’t need to be “good” at meditation to come – the structure is there to support you, whether you’re just starting or already have a practice.
Who this is for
This retreat is open to both beginners and those with an existing meditation practice.
It’s for people who value – or want to move towards – a healthier way of living, without relying on things like alcohol to relax or switch off.
Many people come on their own, and it tends to be a friendly, easy group to settle into.
This probably isn’t for you if you’re looking for a standard holiday with lots of excursions and sightseeing. The focus here is on slowing down, learning or deepening meditation, and having the space to properly switch off.
What to expect
For those new to meditation, you’ll learn a simple technique that you can take home and continue with long after the retreat.
For those who already meditate, there will be the opportunity to go deeper into the practice, including learning and practising Rounding – a simple sequence of yoga and breathing that significantly deepens the effects of meditation.
There will be time and support to meditate (and round, if you choose) in both the mornings and afternoons.
There will also be several guided breathwork sessions. These are done lying down and can be quite powerful – a way of working through built-up stress and emotional patterns in a safe, supported setting.
The structure is there, but it’s not rigid. You can take part as much or as little as you like.
Outside of the sessions, there’s plenty of time to rest, swim, or make use of the spa facilities. Treatments are available to book, along with access to the sauna, steam room and pool.
Healthy vegetarian meals are provided throughout the week. The retreat is alcohol-free, and caffeine is best kept to a minimum to support the meditation and rest.
Your host
The retreat is hosted by me, Rory Kinsella. I’m a meditation teacher working mainly with busy professionals who want to feel better day to day and rely less on things like alcohol to unwind.
I’ve been teaching for over a decade, and this will be the fourth retreat I’ve run, and the third in Bali.
I personally love retreats and have had some of my biggest breakthroughs on them – including the decision to quit drinking on a retreat in Mexico in 2017.

Amazing environment & very yummy vegetarian cuisine. Loved meeting, connecting & sharing with a lovely group of very interesting people from all over the world. I feel very grateful to have had this experience & thank Rory & Alex for making this happen 🙏🥰"

"It’s an experience that I’ll always remember! It helped me get out of my comfort zone, learn valuable tools for my sobriety, and step out of my daily life to reflect. The workshops were so informative and gave me a new perspective, but there were also moments of fun sprinkled throughout. Highly recommend!"
Priscilla, Washington State
"A wonderful experience I would recommend to anyone looking to explore meditation, yoga and behavioural change. With the gentle, fun, non-judgmental support of Rory, together with great connections I made with others in the group, I am so deeply happy to be free of drinking (and a couple of other bad habits!)"
Libby, Sydney
