How meditation can improve your sleep

Intro (sleep)

How meditation can improve your sleep

Meditation and mindfulness have been clinically shown to help with sleep disorders and insomnia. Through your daytime meditation you process the thoughts that keep you up at night so when you go to bed you rest deeply.

Through meditation you allow your mind and body to release the stress, tension and fatigue that build up due to the rigours of day to day life and weigh you down.

How meditation improves sleep

How does it work?
You sit, close your eyes and repeat a silent mantra for 20 minutes. This allows the mind and body to relax. As you relax, stresses that have been locked in the body for days, months or even years are released.

Other benefits of meditation

Why bother?

As well as reducing stress and helping you get to sleep at night, meditation reduces anxiety, increases empathy and allows you to access clearer and more creative thoughts. Sounds too good to be true? Meditation really just does one thing very well – it reduces stress. Stress causes many diseases and robs us of some of our finest qualities.

What's the best way to learn?

What's the best way to learn?

While there are many apps and online videos, the best way to learn if you want to create a regular practice is in person. The number one reason people quit meditating is because they're not sure they're doing it right. With face to face learning you'll gain the confidence of knowing you're doing it right and the time you're investing isn't being wasted.
