How meditation works | Vedic Meditation | Learn to meditate

How does it work?
Sit, close your eyes and repeat a mantra or sound for 20 minutes. This effortless process allows the mind to relax, and with it the body. As the body relaxes, the stresses of day to day life are released through thoughts bubbling up through your mind.

Meditation myths

Meditation isn't about controlling the mind or forcing yourself to stop thinking. It's a natural process that allows the mind and body to release stress and the mind to find silence.

Why bother?

Meditation reduces anxiety and stress, improves sleep, increases your empathy and allows you to access clearer and more creative thoughts. Sounds too good to be true? Meditation really just does one thing very well – it reduces stress. Stress causes many diseases and robs us of some of our finest qualities.
